It gives you 3 large spots for what you need and enough open small slots to fill in the gaps. Warlord I think is easiest when done from the baseball field in Meghar Valley. It sounds like you started the game with a warlord leader and that is technically the hardest one because of the hits to morale from the bunkhouse for example. Do you take the wash basin to help heal blood plague pasively or the pill-press to make your resources go farther? Its about making the choices and not having all the answers all the time. You have to pick and choose for the balance of the game. You can only have one facility mod for the same reason. You have to pick and choose what you want to not struggle as much with. You can't have all of your problems solved by building the top tier stuff for each category of need. Is because the game is meant to be a balancing act. The reason the buildings don't necessarily operate the way we'd expect them to such as the armory not repairing weapons for example. ![]() Yeah the first time around can be a tad annoying and there are some things the game doesn't explain that you sort of have to figure out on your own.ĭefinitely start with standard mode before anything else when you are starting for the first time. An upgraded Lounge will boost morale so maybe give that a try. The only things the armory can make that the workshop can't are professional suppressors and frag grenades, so make a bunch of each (if you want) then tear the thing down and build something else instead. It's convenient but if you've got ammo presses, install those in the workshop instead. In general you're better off not making bandages and painkillers at all-there are tons to find in the world, and scavenging should more than take care of your needs.Īs for the armory, it's a manufacturing facility, so it can't repair, no. Two Meds makes at least 3 bandages in the Infirmary. The only things you can't do at an outpost are drop off rucks, upgrade cars, and treat partial infection, so unless you need to do those things, don't go back to base. The only suggestion I have there is stay away from your base-zeds only spawn around where you are, so don't be there. If they have a trait that says "Starts conflicts," though, exile them immediately since they will never stop fighting no matter what the morale is.īase logistics are a pain in the ass. And if any particular survivor is bitchy, look at what's bothering them on their character sheet in the morale section at the top. You can see on the base screen in the morale sidebar all the things that are affecting community morale addressing any negatives first is a good idea. Your priority is to calm them down-having power and water helps a ton, and since it sounds like you've got a Warlord leader and no boons, getting power and water outposts is key. If your community morale is lower than Cheerful, survivors will waste resources, yes.
